This is one of those stories that gets told at every family get together. My cousins Jean and Shirley were good friends of Reggie. At my wedding they were in charge of slicing the west indian fruitcake and putting it in the cake bags for guests to take home. They were determined to make sure everyone got a piece so they were slicing the pieces mighty thin. A few weeks later at a get together Reggie told the story of seeing a thin envelope on top of his refrigerator. He said he didn't remember putting the mail up there. He decided to check it out and when he looked he realized it was the piece of wedding cake sliced paper thin by my cousin Jean. That story always got a laugh from the Bajans in the crowd. Reggie was a good friend to my cousins Jean, Shirley and Louis and they were happy for him when he found you Sandra.
